Surat Al-Qari'ah

Ayah: 1

ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Kiyama chenye kugonga nyoyo za watu kwa vituko vyake.

Ayah: 2

مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Ni kitu gani hiko chenye kugonga?

Ayah: 3

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Na ni lipi lililokujulisha ni kipi hiko chenye kugonga?

Ayah: 4

يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
Siku hiyo watu watakuwa , kwa wingi wao, kugawanyika kwao na kuzunguka kwao, ni kama pandzi walioenea. Nao ni wale wanaojitupa motoni.

Ayah: 5

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
Na majabali yatakuwa ni kama pamba yenye rangi tofauti inayochambuliwa kwa mkono ikawa ni mapepe na ikamalizika.

Ayah: 6

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Basi mwenye kuwa mizani za mema yake ni nzito,

فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
atakuwa kwenye maisha ya kuridhika Peponi.

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Ama mwenye kuwa mizani za mema yake ni nyepesi na mizani za maovu yake ni nzito,

فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
makazi yake yatakuwa ni Moto wa Jahanamu.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
Ni lipi lililokujulisha, ewe Mtume, ni ipi hii Jahanamu inayoitwa «Hāwiyah»?

نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
Ni Moto unaowaka sana kwa kuni ziliomo ndani yake.
