Surat Al-Ghashiyah

Ayah: 1

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
Je, ilikujia,ewe Mtume, habari ya Kiyama chenye vituko venye kuwaenea watu?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
Nyuso za Makafiri, Siku hiyo, zitakuwa zimenyongeka kwa adhabu.

Ayah: 3

عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
Zishughulishie, zimechoka na kutaabika.

Ayah: 4

تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
Zinachomwa kwa Moto wenye kuwaka kwa ukali.

تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
Zitanyweshwa maji ya chemchemi yenye moto sana.

Ayah: 6

لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٖ
Watu wa Motoni hawatakuwa na chakula isipokuwa kinachotoka kwenye mti wa miba ilioshikana na chini. Ni kibaya sana chakula hiko na ni kichafu mno.

Ayah: 7

لَّا يُسۡمِنُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِن جُوعٖ
Hakimnoneshi mwenye kukila, awapo amekonda, wala hakimuondolei njaa, awapo na njaa.

Ayah: 8

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاعِمَةٞ
Nyuso za Waumini, siku ya Kiyama, zitakuwa kwenye neema.

لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةٞ
Kwa kuwa zilijishughulisha ulimwenguni kumtii Mwenyezi Mungu na kuridhika na Akhera.

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
Zitakuwa kwenye Pepo ya daraja ya juu.

لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةٗ
Hutasikia humo hata neno moja la upuuzi.

فِيهَا عَيۡنٞ جَارِيَةٞ
Ndani yake kuna chemchemi yenye kuteremka maji yake.

فِيهَا سُرُرٞ مَّرۡفُوعَةٞ
Ndani yake mna vitanda vilioangatika,

وَأَكۡوَابٞ مَّوۡضُوعَةٞ
na vikombe vilivyotayarishwa kwa wenye kunywa,

وَنَمَارِقُ مَصۡفُوفَةٞ
na mito iliyopangwa, mmoja baada ya mwingine,

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
na mazulia mengi yaliyotandikwa.

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
Kwani, hawa makafiri wenye kukanusha, hawaangalii ngamia namna walivyoumbwa kiajabu?

Ayah: 18

وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
Na mbingu namna zlizoinuliwa juu kwa namna ya kupendeza?

وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
Na milima namna iliyoimarishwa ukapatikana uthabiti na utulivu wa ardhi?

وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
Na ardhi namna ilivyotandikwa na kutayarishwa?

Ayah: 21

فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٞ
Basi wawaidhie, ewe Mtume, wale wenye kupa nyongo yale uliyotumilizwa kwayo wala usihuzunike kwa kupa mgongo kwao.

Ayah: 22

لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ
Kwani wewe ni muwaidhiaji kwao, na si juu yako kuwalazimisha kuamini..

إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
Lakini yule mwenye kuyapa mgongo makumbusho na mawaidha na akawa mkakamavu kwenye ukafiri wake,

Ayah: 24

فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
Mwenyezi Mungu Atamuadhibu adhabu kali Motoni.

Ayah: 25

إِنَّ إِلَيۡنَآ إِيَابَهُمۡ
Hakika wao watarudi kwetu baada ya kufa.

ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا حِسَابَهُم
Kisha ni juu yetu kuwalipa kwa waliyoyafanya.
