Al-Isrā’

آیه: 1

سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَسۡرَىٰ بِعَبۡدِهِۦ لَيۡلٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ إِلَى ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡأَقۡصَا ٱلَّذِي بَٰرَكۡنَا حَوۡلَهُۥ لِنُرِيَهُۥ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَآۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡبَصِيرُ

1. Glory be to (Allah) Who took His servant¹ on a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah) to the farthest mosque (in Jerusalem), the surroundings whereof We have blessed², so that We may show to him some of Our (Great) Signs. He (Allah) is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.

1. i.e., the Prophet Muhammad
2. And from there to the heavens.

آیه: 2

وَءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ هُدٗى لِّبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ أَلَّا تَتَّخِذُواْ مِن دُونِي وَكِيلٗا

2. We gave Moses the Scripture (Torah) and made it a guidance for the children of Israel, saying: "Do not take other than Me (Allah) as Disposer of (your) affairs³."

3. A person is to entrust none of his affairs to any besides Allah. One should always remember the command: “Put your trust in Allah - sufficient is Allah as a Trustee”.

آیه: 3

ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوحٍۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَبۡدٗا شَكُورٗا

3. Offspring of those whom We carried (on the ship) with Noah. Indeed, he (Noah) was a grateful servant (of Allah).

آیه: 4

وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَتُفۡسِدُنَّ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَرَّتَيۡنِ وَلَتَعۡلُنَّ عُلُوّٗا كَبِيرٗا

4. We conveyed to the children of Israel in the Scripture (the Torah): "That you will cause corruption in the land⁴ twice, and you will certainly reach (a degree) of extreme haughtiness full of (false) pride."

4. Of Palestine and Syria through disobedience, arrogance and transgression slaying the Prophets.

آیه: 5

فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعۡدُ أُولَىٰهُمَا بَعَثۡنَا عَلَيۡكُمۡ عِبَادٗا لَّنَآ أُوْلِي بَأۡسٖ شَدِيدٖ فَجَاسُواْ خِلَٰلَ ٱلدِّيَارِۚ وَكَانَ وَعۡدٗا مَّفۡعُولٗا

5. When the first of the two warnings came to pass, We sent against you some of Our slaves of great might in war⁵ and they probed (even) into the homes (violating their sanctity). It was a warning completely fulfilled⁶.

6. At the hands of Assyrians and Babylonians.

آیه: 6

ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَا لَكُمُ ٱلۡكَرَّةَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَأَمۡدَدۡنَٰكُم بِأَمۡوَٰلٖ وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلۡنَٰكُمۡ أَكۡثَرَ نَفِيرًا

6. Then We gave you back your turn to prevail against them, and aided you with wealth and sons and made you more numerous in manpower.

آیه: 7

إِنۡ أَحۡسَنتُمۡ أَحۡسَنتُمۡ لِأَنفُسِكُمۡۖ وَإِنۡ أَسَأۡتُمۡ فَلَهَاۚ فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعۡدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لِيَسُـُٔواْ وُجُوهَكُمۡ وَلِيَدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖ وَلِيُتَبِّرُواْ مَا عَلَوۡاْ تَتۡبِيرًا

7. "If you do good, you do it for yourselves, and if you do evil, (you do it only) against yourselves." When the second warning came to pass⁷, (We sent your enemies) to sadden your faces and to enter the mosque (of Jerusalem) as they entered it once before, and to destroy whatever they gained ascendancy over, with utter destruction.

7. We raised new enemies i.e., Nebuchadnezzar and his army against you.

آیه: 8

عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمۡ أَن يَرۡحَمَكُمۡۚ وَإِنۡ عُدتُّمۡ عُدۡنَاۚ وَجَعَلۡنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ حَصِيرًا

8. It may be that your Lord (Allah) will have Mercy on you, but if again you return (to disobedience) We too will return (to Punishment)⁸. We have made Gehinnom (Hell) a prison for the deniers.

8. Sinning and rebelliousness bring about destruction and humiliation, but repentance and obedience only result in prosperity and abundance.

آیه: 9

إِنَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ يَهۡدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقۡوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا كَبِيرٗا

9. This Qur’an guides to that which is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they shall have a great reward.

آیه: 10

وَأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لَهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا

10. Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have prepared for them a painful torment.

آیه: 11

وَيَدۡعُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ بِٱلشَّرِّ دُعَآءَهُۥ بِٱلۡخَيۡرِۖ وَكَانَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ عَجُولٗا

11. Man supplicates for bad (against himself and others in anger) as he supplicates for good. For man is ever hasty.

آیه: 12

وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ءَايَتَيۡنِۖ فَمَحَوۡنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَجَعَلۡنَآ ءَايَةَ ٱلنَّهَارِ مُبۡصِرَةٗ لِّتَبۡتَغُواْ فَضۡلٗا مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَلِتَعۡلَمُواْ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلۡحِسَابَۚ وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٖ فَصَّلۡنَٰهُ تَفۡصِيلٗا

12. We have made the night and the day as two signs⁹. We have erased the sign of the night, while We have made the sign of the day for you to see, so that you may seek bounty from your Lord (Allah), and that you might know the numbering of years and the reckoning (of time). We have explained everything (in detail) with full explanation.

9. Of the Oneness of God, and Our perfect Knowledge and Power.

آیه: 13

وَكُلَّ إِنسَٰنٍ أَلۡزَمۡنَٰهُ طَٰٓئِرَهُۥ فِي عُنُقِهِۦۖ وَنُخۡرِجُ لَهُۥ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ كِتَٰبٗا يَلۡقَىٰهُ مَنشُورًا

13. Every man’s destiny We have tied to his neck, and We shall bring out to him the record of his deeds on the Day ofJudgment a book which he will find wide open,

آیه: 14

ٱقۡرَأۡ كِتَٰبَكَ كَفَىٰ بِنَفۡسِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ عَلَيۡكَ حَسِيبٗا

14. "Read your record (of deeds); your own self is enough as a reckoner over you this Day."

آیه: 15

مَّنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَهۡتَدِي لِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيۡهَاۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۗ وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّىٰ نَبۡعَثَ رَسُولٗا

15. Whoever accepts (God's) Guidance (of Islam), he is only guided for (the benefit of) himself. Whoever goes astray, he only goes astray against it. No bearer of burden will bear the burden of another. We never chastise until We sent a messenger (giving warnings).

آیه: 16

وَإِذَآ أَرَدۡنَآ أَن نُّهۡلِكَ قَرۡيَةً أَمَرۡنَا مُتۡرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُواْ فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهَا تَدۡمِيرٗا

16. When We want to destroy a town (for their iniquities), We send Our command (last warning) to those of its people who have lost themselves entirely in the pursuit of pleasures, and (if) they (continue) to act sinfully, the Word (of torment) proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.

آیه: 17

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ نُوحٖۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرَۢا بَصِيرٗا

17. How many (sinful) generations did We destroy after Noah. For your Lord (Allah) is Enough as Knowing and Seeing with regard to the sins of His servants.

آیه: 18

مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡعَاجِلَةَ عَجَّلۡنَا لَهُۥ فِيهَا مَا نَشَآءُ لِمَن نُّرِيدُ ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَا لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَىٰهَا مَذۡمُومٗا مَّدۡحُورٗا

18. Whoever desires the (passing enjoyment) of this worldly life¹⁰, We hasten to him therein what We please, for whom We want, then We assign to him Gehinnom (Hell); he will enter it detested, disowned.

10. Mohammad, God's messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "The life of the world is sweet and alluringly lush green. And Allah makes you generations succeeding one another so that He may try you in respect of your deeds. So beware of the beguilements of the world and those of women. For the first temptation of children of Israel was through women".
The wealth and women of this world are favorites of everyone like the fresh fruit which is sweet, delicious and attractive for all. Everyone likes them and is attracted towards them. And of the most liked of this world by men is woman but at the same time they are the most harmful. For the one who inclines towards wealth and women and ignores the Islamic legal orders, is at risk in both this life and the Hereafter; and the one who benefits from them keeping oneself within the boundaries of Islam, would be safe from their ruinous effects.

آیه: 19

وَمَنۡ أَرَادَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَسَعَىٰ لَهَا سَعۡيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ سَعۡيُهُم مَّشۡكُورٗا

19. Whoever desires the Hereafter and strives for it with its due striving and is a believer; (as for) these, their striving will be appreciated.

آیه: 20

كُلّٗا نُّمِدُّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مِنۡ عَطَآءِ رَبِّكَۚ وَمَا كَانَ عَطَآءُ رَبِّكَ مَحۡظُورًا

20. To each (group) We aid, these as well as those, out of the generosity of (Allah) your Lord. For the generosity of your Lord (Allah) is not withheld or limited¹¹.

11. Allah gives provision for all in the life of this world without exception.

آیه: 21

ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۚ وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ أَكۡبَرُ دَرَجَٰتٖ وَأَكۡبَرُ تَفۡضِيلٗا

21. Look how We prefer one above another (in this world), yet the Hereafter life has higher degrees and greater in preference.

آیه: 22

لَّا تَجۡعَلۡ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقۡعُدَ مَذۡمُومٗا مَّخۡذُولٗا

22. Do not take besides Allah any other god, lest you (forever) remain detested, forsaken.

آیه: 23

۞ وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُ وَبِٱلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ إِحۡسَٰنًاۚ إِمَّا يَبۡلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ ٱلۡكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَآ أَوۡ كِلَاهُمَا فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَآ أُفّٖ وَلَا تَنۡهَرۡهُمَا وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوۡلٗا كَرِيمٗا

23. Your Lord (Allah) has ordained that you worship none but Him, and that you must honor your parents¹². If either or both of them reach old age in your life, say not to them (even) "uff" (or "ugh")¹³ and never rebuke them, rather speak to them noble words.

12. Love for a hurtful parent: Forgive their transgressions. Show mercy. Share the Qur’an with them. Be kind to them. Choose to speak nicely of them. Teach your children to honor and be kind to their grandparents.
13. One is not to show disapproval in their service even as small a word as "uff" or "ugh", let alone what is beyond that. 

آیه: 24

وَٱخۡفِضۡ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ ٱلذُّلِّ مِنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَةِ وَقُل رَّبِّ ٱرۡحَمۡهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرٗا

24. Lower your wing humbly for them with mercy, and say: "Lord, have Mercy on them, as they cherished me in my childhood."

آیه: 25

رَّبُّكُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا فِي نُفُوسِكُمۡۚ إِن تَكُونُواْ صَٰلِحِينَ فَإِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِلۡأَوَّٰبِينَ غَفُورٗا

25. Your Lord (Allah) knows best what is in yourselves. If you are righteous, then know, that He is All-Forgiving to those who turn to Him (in repentance and obedience).

آیه: 26

وَءَاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَلَا تُبَذِّرۡ تَبۡذِيرًا

26. Give the relative his due right, the destitute, and the stranded traveler (stranger and foreigner). And do not be a wasteful spender.

آیه: 27

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُبَذِّرِينَ كَانُوٓاْ إِخۡوَٰنَ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِۖ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ لِرَبِّهِۦ كَفُورٗا

27. The squanderers are the brothers of Satan. Satan is ever ungrateful to his Lord (Allah).

آیه: 28

وَإِمَّا تُعۡرِضَنَّ عَنۡهُمُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ رَحۡمَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرۡجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمۡ قَوۡلٗا مَّيۡسُورٗا

28. If you are unable to assist (those in need), while awaiting mercy from (Allah) your Lord, which you hope for, then say to them words of comfort.

آیه: 29

وَلَا تَجۡعَلۡ يَدَكَ مَغۡلُولَةً إِلَىٰ عُنُقِكَ وَلَا تَبۡسُطۡهَا كُلَّ ٱلۡبَسۡطِ فَتَقۡعُدَ مَلُومٗا مَّحۡسُورًا

29. Do not make your (giving) hand shackled to your neck, nor stretch it all out¹⁴, lest you remain blameworthy, destitute.

14. Not being stingy or over generous leading to difficulty.

آیه: 30

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرَۢا بَصِيرٗا

30. Your Lord (Allah) makes plentiful the means of sustenance for whom He wills, and He straitens (it for whom He wills). For He is All-Aware, All-Seeing of His servants.

آیه: 31

وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوٓاْ أَوۡلَٰدَكُمۡ خَشۡيَةَ إِمۡلَٰقٖۖ نَّحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُهُمۡ وَإِيَّاكُمۡۚ إِنَّ قَتۡلَهُمۡ كَانَ خِطۡـٔٗا كَبِيرٗا

31. Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them sustenance and yourselves. And to kill them is a grave sin.

آیه: 32

وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ ٱلزِّنَىٰٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَٰحِشَةٗ وَسَآءَ سَبِيلٗا

32. Do not approach adultery. Indeed, it is an indecency and an evil way.

آیه: 33

وَلَا تَقۡتُلُواْ ٱلنَّفۡسَ ٱلَّتِي حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظۡلُومٗا فَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا لِوَلِيِّهِۦ سُلۡطَٰنٗا فَلَا يُسۡرِف فِّي ٱلۡقَتۡلِۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مَنصُورٗا

33. Do not kill the soul which Allah has made sacred, except with (legal) right¹⁵. Whoever is killed unjustly, We have given to his heir authority¹⁶, so let him not exceed the just limits in (retributive) killing; he is certainly aided (by law).

15. In the execution of a legal sentence, or in a just war, or in individual legitimate self-defence.
16. To exact a just retribution or to take blood money or to forgive.

آیه: 34

وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ مَالَ ٱلۡيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ وَأَوۡفُواْ بِٱلۡعَهۡدِۖ إِنَّ ٱلۡعَهۡدَ كَانَ مَسۡـُٔولٗا

34. Do not approach the wealth of the orphan except in a goodly way until they attain maturity. Keep your promise. For (every) promise you will be questioned about it.

آیه: 35

وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ إِذَا كِلۡتُمۡ وَزِنُواْ بِٱلۡقِسۡطَاسِ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمِۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ وَأَحۡسَنُ تَأۡوِيلٗا

35. And give full measure when you measure out, and weigh with accurate scales. This is fair and best in result.

آیه: 36

وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌۚ إِنَّ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡبَصَرَ وَٱلۡفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنۡهُ مَسۡـُٔولٗا

36. Do not concern yourself with anything of which you have no (sure) knowledge. Verily, the hearing, the sight, and the heart, all of these (one) will be questioned about¹⁷.

17. Muhammad, the messenger of God, said : "Part of someone's being a good Muslim is his leaving alone that which does not concern him."

آیه: 37

وَلَا تَمۡشِ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَرَحًاۖ إِنَّكَ لَن تَخۡرِقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَلَن تَبۡلُغَ ٱلۡجِبَالَ طُولٗا

37. And do not walk on the earth exultantly, for you cannot cleave the earth nor can you reach the mountains in height.

آیه: 38

كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ كَانَ سَيِّئُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّكَ مَكۡرُوهٗا

38. All these things are sins and detestable in the Sight of your Lord (Allah).

آیه: 39

ذَٰلِكَ مِمَّآ أَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡكَ رَبُّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةِۗ وَلَا تَجۡعَلۡ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتُلۡقَىٰ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومٗا مَّدۡحُورًا

39. This is of what your Lord (Allah) has revealed to you of Wisdom. Do not take besides Allah any other god lest you should be thrown into Gehinnom (Hell), blamed, and banished (from God’s Mercy).

آیه: 40

أَفَأَصۡفَىٰكُمۡ رَبُّكُم بِٱلۡبَنِينَ وَٱتَّخَذَ مِنَ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنَٰثًاۚ إِنَّكُمۡ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوۡلًا عَظِيمٗا

40. (Pagans) has your Lord (Allah) favored you with sons and taken for Himself angels as females (daughters)¹⁸? What you say is monstrous utterance.

18. Considering their preferring male over female children, their claim that Allah Almighty took daughters, while they themselves are given sons is refuted. How they attribute to Allah, the Omnipotent Creator, what they do not accept for themselves, claiming that the angels are God's daughters.

آیه: 41

وَلَقَدۡ صَرَّفۡنَا فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمۡ إِلَّا نُفُورٗا

41. We have certainly given various examples in this Qur’an that they may take heed, but it does not add (to the deniers) except to their aversion.

آیه: 42

قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ مَعَهُۥٓ ءَالِهَةٞ كَمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذٗا لَّٱبۡتَغَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ سَبِيلٗا

42. Say: "Had there been other gods besides Him, as they say, then they would have sought a way to the Lord of the Great Throne (to challenge Him)."

آیه: 43

سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ عُلُوّٗا كَبِيرٗا

43. Glory be to Him (Allah) and Exalted is He in High Exaltation above what they say (of having partners).

آیه: 44

تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ ٱلسَّبۡعُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّۚ وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمۡدِهِۦ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَفۡقَهُونَ تَسۡبِيحَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورٗا

44. The seven heavens, the earth, and all that is therein, glorify Him; there is not a single thing that does not glorify and praise Him, but you do not understand their praise and glorification. Indeed, He is Most Forbearing, All-Forgiving.

آیه: 45

وَإِذَا قَرَأۡتَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ جَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ حِجَابٗا مَّسۡتُورٗا

45. When you recite the Qur’an, We place between you and those (arrogant ones) who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible veil;

آیه: 46

وَجَعَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفۡقَهُوهُ وَفِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٗاۚ وَإِذَا ذَكَرۡتَ رَبَّكَ فِي ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَلَّوۡاْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَٰرِهِمۡ نُفُورٗا

46. We have placed coverings on their hearts lest they understand it, and deafness in their ears. When you mention your Lord (Allah) alone in the Qur’an (as One Supreme being with no partners) they turn their backs in aversion.

آیه: 47

نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَسۡتَمِعُونَ بِهِۦٓ إِذۡ يَسۡتَمِعُونَ إِلَيۡكَ وَإِذۡ هُمۡ نَجۡوَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَقُولُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلٗا مَّسۡحُورًا

47. We know best how they listen to it¹⁹ when they listen to you, and when they take counsel secretly, when the unjust say: "You follow none but a man bewitched."

19. The Qur’an, it means that their listening to the Qur’an is interceded with bad intention, to find fault, and is not purely meant to reach an understanding.

آیه: 48

ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ ضَرَبُواْ لَكَ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ فَضَلُّواْ فَلَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلٗا

48. Look how they pose examples to you: thus they have gone astray and cannot find a path (of right guidance).

آیه: 49

وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا وَرُفَٰتًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ خَلۡقٗا جَدِيدٗا

49. They (the pagans) say (in denial of the Resurrection): "When we are bones and decayed particles (of dust), shall we then be raised up (from the dead), being a new creation?"

آیه: 50

۞ قُلۡ كُونُواْ حِجَارَةً أَوۡ حَدِيدًا

50. Say: "Yes, even if you become stones, or iron,

آیه: 51

أَوۡ خَلۡقٗا مِّمَّا يَكۡبُرُ فِي صُدُورِكُمۡۚ فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَن يُعِيدُنَاۖ قُلِ ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٖۚ فَسَيُنۡغِضُونَ إِلَيۡكَ رُءُوسَهُمۡ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هُوَۖ قُلۡ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَرِيبٗا

51. Or any other creature that you think is harder (to receive life) in your minds (even then you shall be resurrected)." They will say: "Who will return us?" Say: "(Allah) Who created you at first." Stil they will shake their heads at you and say: "When will it be?" Say: "Perhaps it is near."

آیه: 52

يَوۡمَ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ فَتَسۡتَجِيبُونَ بِحَمۡدِهِۦ وَتَظُنُّونَ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا

52. On the Day when (Allah) will call you, then you will answer Him with Praise and think that you have stayed (on earth) for only a short while.

آیه: 53

وَقُل لِّعِبَادِي يَقُولُواْ ٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُۚ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ يَنزَغُ بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ كَانَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ عَدُوّٗا مُّبِينٗا

53. Tell My servants to say what is best. For Satan sows dissensions among them. Satan is an open enemy to man.

آیه: 54

رَّبُّكُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡۖ إِن يَشَأۡ يَرۡحَمۡكُمۡ أَوۡ إِن يَشَأۡ يُعَذِّبۡكُمۡۚ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَكِيلٗا

54. Your Lord (Allah) knows you best. He will have Mercy on you if He wills, or He will chastise you if He wills. We have not sent you (Muhammad) as a warden over them.

آیه: 55

وَرَبُّكَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَلَقَدۡ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ زَبُورٗا

55. Your Lord (Allah) is Most Knowing of whoever is in the heavens and the earth. We have certainly given preference to some prophets over others and We gave the Psalms to Dawud (David).

آیه: 56

قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَلَا يَمۡلِكُونَ كَشۡفَ ٱلضُّرِّ عَنكُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡوِيلًا

56. Say: Call on those²⁰ whom you assume (to be gods) besides Him (Allah); they have no power to remove harm or avert it from you.

20. Such as Jesus Christ, the holy spirit, unseen spirit creatures, demons, saints, etc.

آیه: 57

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدۡعُونَ يَبۡتَغُونَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمُ ٱلۡوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمۡ أَقۡرَبُ وَيَرۡجُونَ رَحۡمَتَهُۥ وَيَخَافُونَ عَذَابَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ كَانَ مَحۡذُورٗا

57. Those whom they call upon²¹ seek the means of access to their Lord (Allah) - whoever of them is nearest - and they hope for His Mercy and fear His torment. The torment of your Lord (Allah) is a thing to be guarded against.

21. Such as Jesus Christ, the holy spirit, jinn, and saints.

آیه: 58

وَإِن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا نَحۡنُ مُهۡلِكُوهَا قَبۡلَ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ أَوۡ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابٗا شَدِيدٗاۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مَسۡطُورٗا

58. There is not a town but We (Allah) will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection (for the sins of its people) or chastise it with a severe Chastisement. This is written in the Book (of Records).

آیه: 59

وَمَا مَنَعَنَآ أَن نُّرۡسِلَ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ إِلَّآ أَن كَذَّبَ بِهَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَۚ وَءَاتَيۡنَا ثَمُودَ ٱلنَّاقَةَ مُبۡصِرَةٗ فَظَلَمُواْ بِهَاۚ وَمَا نُرۡسِلُ بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ إِلَّا تَخۡوِيفٗا

59. Nothing prevents Us from sending Signs except that the ancients denied them. We gave to (the people of) Thamud the she-camel, a manifest Sign, yet they wronged her. And We do not send Signs except to instill fear.

آیه: 60

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لَكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ أَحَاطَ بِٱلنَّاسِۚ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا ٱلرُّءۡيَا ٱلَّتِيٓ أَرَيۡنَٰكَ إِلَّا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ وَٱلشَّجَرَةَ ٱلۡمَلۡعُونَةَ فِي ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمۡ فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمۡ إِلَّا طُغۡيَٰنٗا كَبِيرٗا

60. (Mention, Muhammad,) when We said to you: "Your Lord (Allah) encompasses²² the people." We did not make the vision which We showed you²³ except as a trial for the people and the (extremely) harmful tree (the tree of Zaqquum, mentioned) in the Qur’an as well. We threaten them (by the Signs and Our requital) but it only increases them (the deniers) in great transgression.

22. In His knowledge and power and will protect you from their harm.
23. During your night journey to Jerusalem and your ascension to the heavens.

آیه: 61

وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ قَالَ ءَأَسۡجُدُ لِمَنۡ خَلَقۡتَ طِينٗا

61. When We said to the angels: "Prostrate to Adam (in honor and respect)." They prostrated all except Iblees (Satan). He said: "Should I prostrate to one whom You have created from clay?"

آیه: 62

قَالَ أَرَءَيۡتَكَ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كَرَّمۡتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنۡ أَخَّرۡتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَأَحۡتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا

62. (Then) said: "Do you see this one whom You have honored above me? If You delay me (i.e., my death) till the Day of Resurrection, I will certainly destroy his offspring²⁴ except a few."

24. Make them follow me submissively and blindly.

آیه: 63

قَالَ ٱذۡهَبۡ فَمَن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ فَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ جَزَآؤُكُمۡ جَزَآءٗ مَّوۡفُورٗا

63. (Allah) said: "Be gone. For whoever of them will follow you, then Gehinnom (Hell) is your recompense, a full recompense.

آیه: 64

وَٱسۡتَفۡزِزۡ مَنِ ٱسۡتَطَعۡتَ مِنۡهُم بِصَوۡتِكَ وَأَجۡلِبۡ عَلَيۡهِم بِخَيۡلِكَ وَرَجِلِكَ وَشَارِكۡهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰلِ وَٱلۡأَوۡلَٰدِ وَعِدۡهُمۡۚ وَمَا يَعِدُهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ إِلَّا غُرُورًا

64. And excite any of them whom you can with your (seductive) voice²⁵, and make assaults on them with your calvary and your infantry, and share with them (in their) wealth and children²⁶, and make promises to them." But Satan does not promise them except delusion.

25. I.e., of inciting, illicit songs, music, and any other call to Allah’s disobedience.
26. By tempting them to earn money by illegal ways (such as usury or bribery), or by committing fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, etc.

آیه: 65

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلٗا

65. Indeed, My (sincere, devoted) servants, you have no authority over them. And Your Lord (Allah) is Enough as a Guardian²⁷.

27. Trustee, Savior, and Protector

آیه: 66

رَّبُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِي يُزۡجِي لَكُمُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ لِتَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِكُمۡ رَحِيمٗا

66. Your Lord (Allah) is He Who causes the ships to sail for you in the sea, that you may seek of His bounty. He is ever Merciful to you.

آیه: 67

وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدۡعُونَ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُۖ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡبَرِّ أَعۡرَضۡتُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ كَفُورًا

67. When harm touches you on the sea, all that you pray to evades you except Him (Allah). But when He delivers you to the land, you turn away. For man is ever ungrateful.

آیه: 68

أَفَأَمِنتُمۡ أَن يَخۡسِفَ بِكُمۡ جَانِبَ ٱلۡبَرِّ أَوۡ يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبٗا ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُواْ لَكُمۡ وَكِيلًا

68. Do you feel secure that He (Allah) will not cause a tract of land to swallow you up, or send on you a tornado? Then you shall not find any protector for yourselves.

آیه: 69

أَمۡ أَمِنتُمۡ أَن يُعِيدَكُمۡ فِيهِ تَارَةً أُخۡرَىٰ فَيُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ قَاصِفٗا مِّنَ ٱلرِّيحِ فَيُغۡرِقَكُم بِمَا كَفَرۡتُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُواْ لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡنَا بِهِۦ تَبِيعٗا

69. Or, do you feel secure that He will (not) send you back into the sea another time, then send against you a hurricane of wind and drown you because of your denial and ungratefulness? Then you would not find any avenger against Us (Allah).

آیه: 70

۞ وَلَقَدۡ كَرَّمۡنَا بَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٖ مِّمَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَا تَفۡضِيلٗا

70. We have certainly honored the children of Adam, carried them on land and sea²⁸, given them pure sustenance, and preferred them above most of those whom We have created with (definite) preference.

28. And air, from the transport We have provided for them.

آیه: 71

يَوۡمَ نَدۡعُواْ كُلَّ أُنَاسِۭ بِإِمَٰمِهِمۡۖ فَمَنۡ أُوتِيَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَقۡرَءُونَ كِتَٰبَهُمۡ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُونَ فَتِيلٗا

71. On the Day (of Judgment) when We shall call every people with their leaders. Those whose record of deeds are given to their right hands, such will read their record (happily), and they will not be dealt with unjustly, even as much as a thread (of a date stone).

آیه: 72

وَمَن كَانَ فِي هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَعۡمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَعۡمَىٰ وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلٗا

72. Whoever is blind (from the Truth) in this (world), will be blind in the Hereafter; and more astray in way.

آیه: 73

وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَفۡتِنُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ لِتَفۡتَرِيَ عَلَيۡنَا غَيۡرَهُۥۖ وَإِذٗا لَّٱتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلٗا

73. They were about to tempt you away from what We have revealed to you, so that you may falsely ascribe to Us something other than it, and then they would certainly have taken you as a friend.

آیه: 74

وَلَوۡلَآ أَن ثَبَّتۡنَٰكَ لَقَدۡ كِدتَّ تَرۡكَنُ إِلَيۡهِمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا قَلِيلًا

74. Had We not made you stand firm, you would certainly have been near to incline to them a little;

آیه: 75

إِذٗا لَّأَذَقۡنَٰكَ ضِعۡفَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ وَضِعۡفَ ٱلۡمَمَاتِ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيۡنَا نَصِيرٗا

75. Had you done so, We would certainly have made you taste a double (suffering) in this life and a double (suffering) after death, then you would not have found any helper against Us (Allah).

آیه: 76

وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَسۡتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيُخۡرِجُوكَ مِنۡهَاۖ وَإِذٗا لَّا يَلۡبَثُونَ خِلَٰفَكَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا

76. They were about to frighten you from the land so that they may expel you from it. In that case, they will not have stayed after you except for a little while.

آیه: 77

سُنَّةَ مَن قَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا قَبۡلَكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَاۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ لِسُنَّتِنَا تَحۡوِيلًا

77. (This is Our) Way with regard to those of Our messengers whom We sent before you (Muhammad), and you shall not find any change in God’s Way.

آیه: 78

أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِدُلُوكِ ٱلشَّمۡسِ إِلَىٰ غَسَقِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡفَجۡرِۖ إِنَّ قُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ كَانَ مَشۡهُودٗا

78. Keep up the prayer from the declining of the sun (after midday) till the darkness  of the night²⁹; and (prolong) the recitation (of the Qur’an) at dawn (the morning prayer). The morning recitation is witnessed (by the angels of the night and the day)³⁰.

29. I.e., at noon, in the afternoon, at sunset, and at night.
30. Allah, our Lord, wants us to communicate with Him through prayer. He always listens to us when we pray. Daily prayers can bless you, your family, and those you pray for. It can also invite more peace into your life, help you learn more about Allah's plan for you, and more.

آیه: 79

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَتَهَجَّدۡ بِهِۦ نَافِلَةٗ لَّكَ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَبۡعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامٗا مَّحۡمُودٗا

79. And during a part of the night, pray optional prayers (beyond what is incumbent on you); maybe your Lord (Allah) will raise you to a highly praiseworthy position (of intercession).

آیه: 80

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَدۡخِلۡنِي مُدۡخَلَ صِدۡقٖ وَأَخۡرِجۡنِي مُخۡرَجَ صِدۡقٖ وَٱجۡعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلۡطَٰنٗا نَّصِيرٗا

80. Say (Muhammad): "(O Allah my) Lord, make me enter a goodly entering, and cause me to go forth a goodly going forth, and grant me from You a helpful authority."

آیه: 81

وَقُلۡ جَآءَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ ٱلۡبَٰطِلُۚ إِنَّ ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقٗا

81. Say: "Truth has come and falsehood has been banished. For falsehood (by its nature) is bound to banishment.

آیه: 82

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٞ وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا

82. We send down of the Qur’an that which is a healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the workers of iniquity except in loss.

آیه: 83

وَإِذَآ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ أَعۡرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ كَانَ يَـُٔوسٗا

83. When We bestow favor upon man (the denier), he turns away and distances himself, but when adversity touches him, he is despairing.

آیه: 84

قُلۡ كُلّٞ يَعۡمَلُ عَلَىٰ شَاكِلَتِهِۦ فَرَبُّكُمۡ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنۡ هُوَ أَهۡدَىٰ سَبِيلٗا

84. Say: "Each one works according to what he is like. And your Lord (Allah) knows well whose path is best guided."

آیه: 85

وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلرُّوحِۖ قُلِ ٱلرُّوحُ مِنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّي وَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا

85. They (the Jews) ask you (Muhammad) about the spirit. Say: "The spirit comes by the Command of (Allah) my Lord. For you (people) have not been given of knowledge except a little."

آیه: 86

وَلَئِن شِئۡنَا لَنَذۡهَبَنَّ بِٱلَّذِيٓ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِۦ عَلَيۡنَا وَكِيلًا

86. And if We willed, We could certainly take away that which We have revealed to you (Muhammad), then you would not find for you any helper to plead its return from Us.

آیه: 87

إِلَّا رَحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ إِنَّ فَضۡلَهُۥ كَانَ عَلَيۡكَ كَبِيرٗا

87. Except as a mercy from (Allah) your Lord - for His favor on you is ever great.

آیه: 88

قُل لَّئِنِ ٱجۡتَمَعَتِ ٱلۡإِنسُ وَٱلۡجِنُّ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتُواْ بِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ لَا يَأۡتُونَ بِمِثۡلِهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَانَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ لِبَعۡضٖ ظَهِيرٗا

88. Say (Muhammad): "If men and jinn should gather together to bring the like of this Qur’an, they could not bring the like of it, even if they were all aiders one to another."

آیه: 89

وَلَقَدۡ صَرَّفۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٖ فَأَبَىٰٓ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورٗا

89. We have certainly explained for the people in this Qur’an every kind of example, but most people refuse to accept anything except denial (of the Truth).

آیه: 90

وَقَالُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ تَفۡجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَنۢبُوعًا

90. They have said: "We shall not believe in you (Muhammad) until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us.

آیه: 91

أَوۡ تَكُونَ لَكَ جَنَّةٞ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَعِنَبٖ فَتُفَجِّرَ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ خِلَٰلَهَا تَفۡجِيرًا

91. Or (until) you have a garden of date-palms and grapevines in the midst of which you should cause rivers to rush forth in abundance.

آیه: 92

أَوۡ تُسۡقِطَ ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَمَا زَعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡنَا كِسَفًا أَوۡ تَأۡتِيَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ قَبِيلًا

92. Or you cause the sky to fall down upon us in pieces as you threatened, or (until) you bring Allah and the angels face-to-face (before us).

آیه: 93

أَوۡ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيۡتٞ مِّن زُخۡرُفٍ أَوۡ تَرۡقَىٰ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَن نُّؤۡمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّىٰ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيۡنَا كِتَٰبٗا نَّقۡرَؤُهُۥۗ قُلۡ سُبۡحَانَ رَبِّي هَلۡ كُنتُ إِلَّا بَشَرٗا رَّسُولٗا

93. Or you have a house of gold, or you ascend to heaven, and we shall not believe in your ascending until you bring down to us (from heaven) a Book which we can read." Say (Muhammad): "Glory (and Honor) be to (Allah) my Lord; am I anything but a mortal man, sent as a Messenger?"

آیه: 94

وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓاْ أَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ بَشَرٗا رَّسُولٗا

94. Nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them except that they said: "Has Allah sent a mortal man as (His) messenger?"

آیه: 95

قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَلَٰٓئِكَةٞ يَمۡشُونَ مُطۡمَئِنِّينَ لَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَلَكٗا رَّسُولٗا

95. Say (Muhammad): "Had there been in the earth angels walking about as settlers, We would certainly have sent down to them from the heaven an angel as a Messenger."

آیه: 96

قُلۡ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِيدَۢا بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ خَبِيرَۢا بَصِيرٗا

96. Say: "Allah (God) is Enough as a Witness between me and you. He is All-Aware of His servants, All-Seeing."

آیه: 97

وَمَن يَهۡدِ ٱللَّهُ فَهُوَ ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِۖ وَمَن يُضۡلِلۡ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِهِۦۖ وَنَحۡشُرُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمۡ عُمۡيٗا وَبُكۡمٗا وَصُمّٗاۖ مَّأۡوَىٰهُمۡ جَهَنَّمُۖ كُلَّمَا خَبَتۡ زِدۡنَٰهُمۡ سَعِيرٗا

97. He whom Allah guides, he is on true guidance, but he whom He leaves astray³¹, you shall not find for him guardians besides Him. And We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf. Their abode is Gehinnom (Hell). Whenever it abates, We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire.

31. Because of his arrogance and persistence in sin.

آیه: 98

ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا وَرُفَٰتًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ خَلۡقٗا جَدِيدًا

98. This is their retribution because they denied Our Signs and said: "When we are bones and decayed particles, shall we then indeed be raised up (from the dead) into a new creation?"

آیه: 99

۞ أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَهُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمۡ أَجَلٗا لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ فَأَبَى ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ إِلَّا كُفُورٗا

99. Do they not consider that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, is able to create their like, and He has appointed for them a term of which there is no doubt. But the workers of iniquity are unwilling to accept anything but disbelief (in Our revelation).

آیه: 100

قُل لَّوۡ أَنتُمۡ تَمۡلِكُونَ خَزَآئِنَ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّيٓ إِذٗا لَّأَمۡسَكۡتُمۡ خَشۡيَةَ ٱلۡإِنفَاقِۚ وَكَانَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ قَتُورٗا

100. Say, "Had you owned the treasures of the Mercy of my Lord (Allah), then you would withhold (them) from fear of spending." For man is ever niggardly.

آیه: 101

وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ تِسۡعَ ءَايَٰتِۭ بَيِّنَٰتٖۖ فَسۡـَٔلۡ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ إِذۡ جَآءَهُمۡ فَقَالَ لَهُۥ فِرۡعَوۡنُ إِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ مَسۡحُورٗا

101. We had certainly given Moses nine clear Signs; so ask the children of Israel. When he came to them, Pharaoh said to him: "Moses, I believe that you are bewitched."

آیه: 102

قَالَ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَآ أَنزَلَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ بَصَآئِرَ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ مَثۡبُورٗا

102. (Moses) said: "You know well that none but (Allah only) the Lord of the heavens and the earth has sent down these as clear Proofs and I consider that you, O Pharaoh, are in utter loss."

آیه: 103

فَأَرَادَ أَن يَسۡتَفِزَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ جَمِيعٗا

103. So Pharaoh wanted to expel them out of the land (of Egypt), but We drowned him and those with him (his soldiers) all together;

آیه: 104

وَقُلۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ لِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱسۡكُنُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَإِذَا جَآءَ وَعۡدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ جِئۡنَا بِكُمۡ لَفِيفٗا

104. We said to the children of Israel after (it was all over with Pharaoh): "Dwell in the land, and when the promise of the Last Day shall come to pass We shall bring you all together for Judgement."

آیه: 105

وَبِٱلۡحَقِّ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ وَبِٱلۡحَقِّ نَزَلَۗ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا

105. With the truth We have sent down (this Qur’an), and with truth it has descended. We have not sent you (Muhammad) except as a giver of good news (of eternal Bliss) and as a warner (of painful Chastisement)³².

32. God has sent Prophet Muhammad to set crooked beliefs straight and on the right way, so that people will come to declare their belief that there is no deity other than Allah (God). Through him God will cause blind eyes, deaf ears, and sealed hearts to open. He sent him to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and to bring forth people from darkness to the light, and to comfort all who mourn and to heal hearts by the Qur’an and the Wisdom.

آیه: 106

وَقُرۡءَانٗا فَرَقۡنَٰهُ لِتَقۡرَأَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ مُكۡثٖ وَنَزَّلۡنَٰهُ تَنزِيلٗا

106. This is a Qur’an that We have divided into many segments, so that you may recite it to the people at intervals, and We have descended it by stages in a (successive) manner.

آیه: 107

قُلۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِهِۦٓ أَوۡ لَا تُؤۡمِنُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦٓ إِذَا يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ يَخِرُّونَۤ لِلۡأَذۡقَانِۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ

107. Say (Muhammad): "Believe in it (the Qur’an) or believe not." Those who were given the (right) knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration.

آیه: 108

وَيَقُولُونَ سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِن كَانَ وَعۡدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفۡعُولٗا

108. And they say: "Glory and Honor be to (Allah) our Lord. The Promise of (Allah) our Lord must be fulfilled."

آیه: 109

وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلۡأَذۡقَانِ يَبۡكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمۡ خُشُوعٗا۩

109. They fall down on their faces weeping, and it increases them in humility.

آیه: 110

قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَۖ أَيّٗا مَّا تَدۡعُواْ فَلَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ وَلَا تَجۡهَرۡ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتۡ بِهَا وَٱبۡتَغِ بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلٗا

110. Say (Muhammad): "Call upon Allah or call upon Ar-Rahman (the Most Compassionate); whichever (name) you call upon, He (Allah) has the Best Names." And do not utter your prayer with a raised voice, nor be silent concerning it, but seek a way in between."

آیه: 111

وَقُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَمۡ يَتَّخِذۡ وَلَدٗا وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٞ فِي ٱلۡمُلۡكِ وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ وَلِيّٞ مِّنَ ٱلذُّلِّۖ وَكَبِّرۡهُ تَكۡبِيرَۢا

111. Say: "(All) Praise (and Honor) be to Allah only, Who has not taken for Himself a son, and Who has no partner in (His) Dominion, and has no deficiency nor need of any help; and (thus) proclaim His Greatness, magnifying (Him) with every Magnificence.
