152 : 6

وَلَا تَقۡرَبُواْ مَالَ ٱلۡيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبۡلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥۚ وَأَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَٱلۡمِيزَانَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۖ وَإِذَا قُلۡتُمۡ فَٱعۡدِلُواْ وَلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبَىٰۖ وَبِعَهۡدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡفُواْۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

152. Do not approach the property of the orphan except in the best manner, until he attains maturity. Give full measure and weight with justice. We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity. And when you speak, be just, even if it concerns a close relative. Fulfil the covenant of Allāh. This is what He commands you, so that you may take heed.

153 : 6

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطِي مُسۡتَقِيمٗا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُواْ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمۡ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

153. [Know] that this is My path—straight—so follow it, and do not follow other ways, for they will separate you from His way. This is what He commands you, so that you may become righteous ^[26].

[26]. Whoever follows this Straight Path becomes one of the righteous.

154 : 6

ثُمَّ ءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى ٱلَّذِيٓ أَحۡسَنَ وَتَفۡصِيلٗا لِّكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

154. Then We gave Moses the Scripture—completing Our favor upon him who did good—and explaining all things in detail, and as guidance and mercy, so that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.

155 : 6

وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٞ فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ وَٱتَّقُواْ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

155. This [Qur’an] is a blessed Book which We have revealed; so follow it and guard yourselves against evil, that you may receive His mercy.

 

156 : 6

أَن تَقُولُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَآئِفَتَيۡنِ مِن قَبۡلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمۡ لَغَٰفِلِينَ

156. Lest you say: "The Scripture was only revealed to two groups before us ^[27], and we were truly unaware of what they studied."

[27]. I.e., Jews and Christians.

157 : 6

أَوۡ تَقُولُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَكُنَّآ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡهُمۡۚ فَقَدۡ جَآءَكُم بَيِّنَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٞۚ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنۡهَاۗ سَنَجۡزِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَصۡدِفُونَ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصۡدِفُونَ

157. Or lest you should say: “If only the Scripture had been sent down to us, we would surely have been better guided than they.” But now there has indeed come to you a clear proof from your Lord — and a guidance and mercy. So who could be more unjust than one who denies the signs of Allāh and turns away from them? We shall requite those who turn away from Our signs with the worst punishment because of their turning away.
