187. It is lawful for you during the nights of the fast to have carnal relations with your wives. They are a clothing for you just as you are a clothing for them. Allāh knew that you acted unfaithfully to yourselves64, so He has turned to you (mercifully) and removed from you (this burden); so now you may approach them (your wives) intimately65 (on the nights of the fast) and seek what Allāh has ordained for you. Eat and drink until the whiteness of the day becomes distinct from the blackness of the night at dawn, then complete the fast until the nightfall (i.e., sunset). Do not have carnal relations with them (your wives) while you keep yourselves in the mosques (for worship). These are the set Limits of Allāh, so do not approach them. Thus does Allāh make clear His Verses for the people that they may fear Allāh (and shun evil).
64. By secretly doing what was prohibited to you of having carnal relations with your wives during the nights of Ramadan.
65. Prior to this revelation, marital relations were unlawful during nights preceding fasting. Some were unable to refrain and secretly disobeyed, but Allāh accepted their repentance, and then it was made lawful.
188. Do not consume your wealth among yourselves in illegal ways, nor give bribery to the rulers (judges) that you may wrongly acquire a part of the wealth of the people knowingly66.
66. Muhammad, the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him said, “God has cursed the one who offers a bribe and the one who receives a bribe.”
189. They ask you about the new moons (crescents). Say: "They (are) indicators of periods for the people and the Pilgrimage season." It is not a righteous act to enter houses from the back, but righteousness is (found in) the one who guards against evil. And enter houses through their proper doors. Fear Allāh, that you may prosper.
190. Fight in the Way of Allāh those who fight you67, but do not transgress. Indeed, Allāh does not like the transgressors.
67. A companion of the prophet said, i asked God’s Messenger, "What is the best deed in Islam?" He replied, "To perform the prayers at their early stated times." I asked, "What is next in goodness?" He replied, "To honor your parents: for this is well pleasing unto Allāh." I further asked, "What is next in goodness?" He replied, "To participate in Jihâd for God’s Cause."
