Ibisobanuro by'amagambo Isura: Anabau (Inkuru)   Umurongo:

An-Naba’

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
1. About what are they (the pagans and deniers) asking one another?
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
2. About the momentous News, (the Day of Resurrection and this Qur'an)?
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
ٱلَّذِي هُمۡ فِيهِ مُخۡتَلِفُونَ
3. which they differ about it?
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
4. But no, they will soon come to know,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ
5. Again no, they will soon come to know.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا
6. Have We not made the earth as a cradle?
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا
7. And the mountains as pegs?
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا
8. And created you in pairs,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا
9. And made your sleep for rest,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا
10. And made the night as a covering,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشٗا
11. And made the day for seeking livelihood.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعٗا شِدَادٗا
12. And constructed above you seven strong (heavens, one above the other),
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا
13. And made (the sun) a glowing lamp,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا
14. And sent down from the rainclouds water pouring forth abundantly -
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا
15. To produce with it grains and vegetation,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَجَنَّٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا
16. And dense gardens?
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا
17. The Day of Judgment is an appointed time -
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا
18. The Day the trumpet is blown, then you will come forth in multitudes,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا
19. And the sky will be opened up so that it will become gateways.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا
20. And the mountains will be moved off, becoming like a mirage.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا
21. Indeed, Gehinnom (Hell) lies in ambush (for its prey) -
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
لِّلطَّٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا
22. A home for the transgressors.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
لَّٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا
23. They will abide therein for ages.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا
24. Nothing cool shall they taste therein, nor any drink -
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا
25. Except scalding water and (foul) pus,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا
26. A fitting recompense (for their deeds).
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا
27. They were not expecting a Reckoning,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا
28. And persistently denied Our verses (of the Qur'an) a complete denial.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا
29. We have enumerated everything (of what they did) in writing.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
30. So taste (the torment), for We shall not increase you except in suffering.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
31. For the righteous is attainment¹,
1. I.e., safety from Hell and an entry to Paradise.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعۡنَٰبٗا
32. Gardens and vineyards,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتۡرَابٗا
33. And beautiful luscious maidens, with the freshness of youth, equals in age,
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
وَكَأۡسٗا دِهَاقٗا
34. And a cup full (of pure wine).
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا كِذَّٰبٗا
35. They will not hear therein (in the Paradise) any vain words nor lying -
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
جَزَآءٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابٗا
36. A Reward from 'Allāh' your Lord, a Gift, (amply) sufficient.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۖ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابٗا
37. Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Most Compassionate 'Allāh'. No one will dare speak to Him (on the Day of Judgment, except after His Permission).
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا
38. On the Day the 'holy' spirit (i.e., Gabriel) and the angels will stand in rows; they will not speak (before Him) except he whom (Allāh) the Most Compassionate permits, and who speaks only what is right and just.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا
39. That is the inevitable Day! So whoever wills, let him take the (right) Way towards his Lord 'Allāh'.
Ibisobanuro by'icyarabu:
إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا
40. We have warned you of the approaching torment - the Day when man will see what (good or evil deeds) his two hands have done, and the denier will say: "Woe to me, would that I were mere dust!"
