אל-מודתיר

Ayah: 1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُدَّثِّرُ
1 הוי, אתה המתכסה!

Ayah: 2

قُمۡ فَأَنذِرۡ
2 קום והזהר!

Ayah: 3

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرۡ
3 ואת שם ריבונך האדר (פאר)!

Ayah: 4

وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرۡ
4 ואת בגדיך סהר!

Ayah: 5

وَٱلرُّجۡزَ فَٱهۡجُرۡ
5. ומן התועבה התרחק!

Ayah: 6

وَلَا تَمۡنُن تَسۡتَكۡثِرُ
6 ואל תעשה דברים בציפייה לקבל עוד,

وَلِرَبِّكَ فَٱصۡبِرۡ
7 (ולצווים ש) לריבונך המתן בסבלנות.

فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي ٱلنَّاقُورِ
8 וכאשר תהיה התקיעה בשופר,

فَذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَوۡمٌ عَسِيرٌ
9 היום ההוא יהיה יום של מצוקה

عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ غَيۡرُ يَسِيرٖ
10 ולכופרים זה יהיה ממש לא קל.

ذَرۡنِي وَمَنۡ خَلَقۡتُ وَحِيدٗا
11 הנח לי לספל באלה שבראתי לבד,

وَجَعَلۡتُ لَهُۥ مَالٗا مَّمۡدُودٗا
12 ולאלה אשר הענקתי שפע והצלחה,

وَبَنِينَ شُهُودٗا
13 ובנים העומדים סביבו כל הזמן.

وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمۡهِيدٗا
14 ואת דרכיו עשיתי קלות.

ثُمَّ يَطۡمَعُ أَنۡ أَزِيدَ
15 ואף על פי כן, הוא מתאווה שאתן לו עוד.

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِأٓيَٰتِنَا عَنِيدٗا
16 אך, לא! (כי) הוא כפר באותותינו,

سَأُرۡهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا
17 לכן, אנחית עליו עונש כבד!

إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ
18 הוא חישב ותכנן

Ayah: 19

فَقُتِلَ كَيۡفَ قَدَّرَ
19 אך הוא יוכחד כפי שהוא זמם!

ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيۡفَ قَدَّرَ
20 ושוב, הוא יוכחד כפי שהוא זמם!

ثُمَّ نَظَرَ
21 לאחר מכן, הוא התבונן מסביב,

Ayah: 22

ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ
22 לאחר מכן, הוא קימט את מצחו בזעם,

Ayah: 23

ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ
23 והפנה את גבו ונמלא גאוותנות,

فَقَالَ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ يُؤۡثَرُ
24 ואז אמר: “זה בסך הכול כישוף אשר הועתק מאחרים!”

Ayah: 25

إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا قَوۡلُ ٱلۡبَشَرِ
25 ואין הדברים הללו אלא דברי אדם!”.

سَأُصۡلِيهِ سَقَرَ
26 לכן, אשרוף אותו באש הגיהינום!

Ayah: 27

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سَقَرُ
27 התדע מה היא אש הגיהינום?

Ayah: 28

لَا تُبۡقِي وَلَا تَذَرُ
28 זו אשר לא תשאיר ולא תניח לאחד להישאר ללא הישרפות.

لَوَّاحَةٞ لِّلۡبَشَرِ
29 את הבשר היא חורכת,

Ayah: 30

عَلَيۡهَا تِسۡعَةَ عَشَرَ
30 תשעה עשר(מלאכים חזקים) מופקדים עליה.

Ayah: 31

وَمَا جَعَلۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلنَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٗۖ وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا عِدَّتَهُمۡ إِلَّا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِيَسۡتَيۡقِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَيَزۡدَادَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِيمَٰنٗا وَلَا يَرۡتَابَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ وَٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ مَاذَآ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا مَثَلٗاۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِي مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَا يَعۡلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡبَشَرِ
31 כשומרי הגיהינום הצבנו רק מלאכים, את מספרם קבענו למען נבחן את אלה אשר כפרו, ולמען ישמש הוכחה לאנשי עם-הספר ותגבר אמונתם של אלה אשר האמינו ולא יפקפקו. וכן, למען יאמרו אלה אשר קללה כליכם והכופרים: “מה רצה אללה להדגים לנו בזאת?” כך יתעה אללה את אשר ירצה וידריך את אשר ירצה. רק הוא מכיר את גדודי ריבונך, וזו היא רק תזכורת לאדם.

كَلَّا وَٱلۡقَمَرِ
32 אכן, נשבע אני בירח!

Ayah: 33

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذۡ أَدۡبَرَ
33 ובלילה כאשר הוא נסוג!

Ayah: 34

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَآ أَسۡفَرَ
34 ובבוקר כאשר הוא מפציע!

إِنَّهَا لَإِحۡدَى ٱلۡكُبَرِ
35 היא (אש הגיהינום) אחד המבחנים הגדולים,

Ayah: 36

نَذِيرٗا لِّلۡبَشَرِ
36 והיא אזהרה לבני האדם,

Ayah: 37

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَتَقَدَّمَ أَوۡ يَتَأَخَّرَ
37 לכל מי שירצה מכם להתקדם או להישאר מאחור!

Ayah: 38

كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ رَهِينَةٌ
38 כל נפש ערבה למעשיה!

Ayah: 39

إِلَّآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡيَمِينِ
39 אך, לא אלה בעלי הימין,

Ayah: 40

فِي جَنَّٰتٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
40 אשר ישכנו בגני העדן, וישאלו זה את זה,

Ayah: 41

عَنِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
41 אודות הכופרים המכחשים

Ayah: 42

مَا سَلَكَكُمۡ فِي سَقَرَ
42 והם ישאלו אותם: “מה הובילכם לתוך אש הגיהינום?”

Ayah: 43

قَالُواْ لَمۡ نَكُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُصَلِّينَ
43 יגידו: “לא היינו מתפללים,

Ayah: 44

وَلَمۡ نَكُ نُطۡعِمُ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ
44 ולא היינו מאכילים את המסכנים,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 45

وَكُنَّا نَخُوضُ مَعَ ٱلۡخَآئِضِينَ
45 והיינו עוסקים בדברי הבל עם התועים,

Ayah: 46

وَكُنَّا نُكَذِّبُ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ
46 וכפרנו ביום הדין
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 47

حَتَّىٰٓ أَتَىٰنَا ٱلۡيَقِينُ
47 עד אשר בא אלינו המוות”

Ayah: 48

فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمۡ شَفَٰعَةُ ٱلشَّٰفِعِينَ
48 ולא תועיל המלצת הממליצים,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 49

فَمَا لَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلتَّذۡكِرَةِ مُعۡرِضِينَ
49 אם כן, מדוע הם מפנים את גבם להזהרה?

Ayah: 50

كَأَنَّهُمۡ حُمُرٞ مُّسۡتَنفِرَةٞ
50 כמו חמורים מבוהלים,

Ayah: 51

فَرَّتۡ مِن قَسۡوَرَةِۭ
51 אשר בורחים מפני האריה!
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 52

بَلۡ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰ صُحُفٗا مُّنَشَّرَةٗ
52 אבל, כל אחד מהם רוצה שיתנו לו מגילות פרושות.

Ayah: 53

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
53 אך, הם אינם יראים מהעולם הבא.

Ayah: 54

كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذۡكِرَةٞ
54 הקוראן הוא הזהרה,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 55

فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
55 ומי שחפץ בכך ייזהר!
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 56

وَمَا يَذۡكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ أَهۡلُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَأَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ
56 אך, הם לא יזכרו ולא ייזהרו, אלא אם ירצה בכך אללה. כי, רק הוא ראוי ליראה ורק הוא אדון הסליחות.
