אל-ליל

Ayah: 1

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰ
1 (שבועה) בלילה המסתיר
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
2 וביום בזוהרו באורו,

Ayah: 3

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ
3 וביוצר הזכר והנקבה.

Ayah: 4

إِنَّ سَعۡيَكُمۡ لَشَتَّىٰ
4 אכן, מעשיכם נבדלים!

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أَعۡطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
5 אולם, המוסר והירא,

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
6 ומאמין בגמול,

Ayah: 7

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
7 נדריך אותו לשביל מעשי החסד,

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
8 אך, הקמצן המסופק

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
9 ומתכחש לגמול

Ayah: 10

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡعُسۡرَىٰ
10 נדריך אותו לשביל הרשע,

Ayah: 11

وَمَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
11 ומה יועיל לו ממונו כשימות?

إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا لَلۡهُدَىٰ
12 אכן, אנו רק מדריכים.

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ
13 אכן, לנו העולם הבא והעולם הזה.

فَأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ نَارٗا تَلَظَّىٰ
14 אני מזהיר אתכם מאש בוערת,

لَا يَصۡلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
15 שבה לא יישרף זולת המרושע,

ٱلَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
16 אשר התכחש וסטה,

Ayah: 17

وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى
17 אך, הירא מאללה יוסט ממנה (מהאש),

Ayah: 18

ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡتِي مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
18 אשר תורם ממונו להיטהר,

Ayah: 19

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعۡمَةٖ تُجۡزَىٰٓ
19 לא כהחזר למישהו על טובה שהוא עשה,

إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ
20 אלא, אך ורק, למען ריבונו הנעלה,

وَلَسَوۡفَ يَرۡضَىٰ
21 (ובאחריתו) יהיה מתרצה (מגמולו).
