149 : 3

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تُطِيعُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يَرُدُّوكُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَعۡقَٰبِكُمۡ فَتَنقَلِبُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ

149. O believers, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers [54]. info

[54]. Mohammad, God's Messenger ﷺ said: "Whoever lives with a polytheist and associates with him is like him.”
This hadith underscores the importance of maintaining one's Islamic identity and avoiding close associations with polytheists that might compromise one's faith. It serves as a cautionary statement about the potential negative influence of such associations. However, it is essential to understand that this does not prohibit Muslims from interacting with non-Muslims in general, especially in contexts where such interactions do not jeopardize one's religious principles.

150 : 3

بَلِ ٱللَّهُ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلنَّٰصِرِينَ

150. Rather, Allāh is your [true] Protector and He is the Best of helpers. info

151 : 3

سَنُلۡقِي فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱلرُّعۡبَ بِمَآ أَشۡرَكُواْ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ سُلۡطَٰنٗاۖ وَمَأۡوَىٰهُمُ ٱلنَّارُۖ وَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

151. We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve for what they have associated with Allāh of which He had not sent down any Authority; and their abode is the Fire. Wretched is the abode of the wrongdoers. info

152 : 3

وَلَقَدۡ صَدَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥٓ إِذۡ تَحُسُّونَهُم بِإِذۡنِهِۦۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَشِلۡتُمۡ وَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِ وَعَصَيۡتُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَآ أَرَىٰكُم مَّا تُحِبُّونَۚ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمۡ عَنۡهُمۡ لِيَبۡتَلِيَكُمۡۖ وَلَقَدۡ عَفَا عَنكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ ذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

152. Indeed, Allāh has fulfilled His promise to you when you were routing them [your enemies] by His permission, until [the time] when you lost courage and disputed about the order [given by the Prophet] and disobeyed after He had shown you that which you love [victory within your reach]; among you were some who desired this world, and among you were some who desired the Hereafter; then He turned you away from them that He might try you; and indeed He has pardoned you. Allāh is Gracious to the believers. info

153 : 3

۞ إِذۡ تُصۡعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلۡوُۥنَ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٖ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدۡعُوكُمۡ فِيٓ أُخۡرَىٰكُمۡ فَأَثَٰبَكُمۡ غَمَّۢا بِغَمّٖ لِّكَيۡلَا تَحۡزَنُواْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمۡ وَلَا مَآ أَصَٰبَكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ

153. When you were [fleeing and] climbing [the mountain] without looking aside at anyone, while the Messenger was calling you from behind you, so Allāh recompensed you with grief [55] upon grief [56] so that you would not grieve over what had escaped you [of booty] nor over what had befell you [of injury and death]. Allāh is All-Aware of all that you do. info

[55]. Such as the possibility of your town being destroyed by the victorious army and the loss of your fighting companions.
[56]. The rumor of the death of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .
