[47]. Refers to those among them who are hostile toward you or who belittle the people of faith.
[48]. That is, whoever supports them against the believers or prefers their religion over Islam.
[49]. These are the hypocrites who honor Allāh with their lips while their hearts remain far from Him. Their worship is in vain, for they have abandoned the commandments of Allāh and replaced them with the traditions of men. Consequently, they earn Allah’s anger, their deceit is exposed, and all that they strove for comes to nothing. Such is the magnitude of their loss.
[50]. Ignoring the command not to ally with the enemies of the believers is considered a renunciation of one’s faith.
[51]. This teaches us to earn Allah’s love and reflect it through acts of service, patience, humility, and sacrifice.
[52]. If we truly love Allāh, we must adhere to His commandments and follow His final Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ.
