[61]. In reference to Psalms 28:21–22; 31:33; and Matthew 12:34; 23:13–38, where both Prophet David and Jesus, son of Mary, condemned the disobedience and corruption of their people, exposing their hypocrisy and rebellion against God’s commands.
[62]. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allāh alone, without any partners; that Muhammad is His servant and messenger; that Jesus is the servant of Allāh and His messenger, His Word which He bestowed upon Mary and a spirit from Him; and that Paradise and Hellfire are true, Allāh will admit him into Paradise according to the good deeds he has done.”
Jesus Christ described Himself as a servant when He said: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve Allāh.” (Mark 10:45). Jesus exemplified complete servanthood as He lived among the Children of Israel as a man and messenger of Allāh. He fully obeyed Allah’s will. Allah’s servants are those who worship Him and carry out His commands, often entrusted with important leadership roles. Individuals such as Abraham (Genesis 26:24), Moses (Exodus 14:31; Deuteronomy 34:5), David (2 Samuel 7:5, 7:8), Isaiah (20:3), and Jesus were all called Allah’s “servants” because they faithfully served their Lord, Allāh.
