[17]. A group of unbelieving Jews.
Believers are instructed to maintain God-consciousness, recognizing that all protection comes from Allāh.
The verse emphasizes that true reliance should be placed solely in Allāh.
Planning and effort are part of life, but ultimate trust rests in His wisdom, control, and timing.
[18]. Naqīb is the chief of a clan. They were charged with taking the oaths of those for whom they were responsible such that they would listen to and obey Allah’s commandments. They were also required to guide and encourage believers to adhere to these commandments.
