ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫ ( ߛߏ߬) ߜߛߊ߬ ߞߍ߬ߟߊ ߟߎ߬ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ - ߊ߳ߺߊߓߑߘߎ߫ ߊ.ߟߟߊ߯ߤߌ߫ ߤ߭ߛߊߣߎ߲߫ ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ - ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߔߘߋߞߎ

Al-‘Ādiyāt

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 1

وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا

1. 'I swear' by the galloping¹, panting horses 'rushing to the battle'

1. I.e., God swearing by the galloping panting horses that fight for the cause of Allah, bearing riders as they race to attack the enemy.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 2

فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا

2. Striking sparks of fire 'by their hoofs'2,

2. While galloping over rocky terrain.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 3

فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا

3. Launching raids at dawn3,

3. While the enemy is unaware of their raid.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 4

فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا

4. Thereby stirring up (clouds of) dust,

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 5

فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا

5. Penetrating as one body into the midst of enemy lines.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 6

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٞ

6. Indeed, man to his Lord (Allāh), is ungrateful.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 7

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٞ

7. And he is to that a witness.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 8

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

8. And indeed, he in the love of money is surely intense.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 9

۞ أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ

9. Does he not then know, when the contents of the graves are brought out,

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 10

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ

10. And what is in the chests (i.e., secrets of the hearts) is made known?

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 11

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّخَبِيرُۢ

11. Indeed, their Lord (Allāh) of them, that Day, is surely All-Aware⁴.

4. Nothing of their affairs will be hidden from Him.
