[6]. By faith, we place our full confidence and trust in Allāh alone. Faith strengthens our hearts to pray more earnestly and to seek His guidance in all that we do.
Through it, we find peace in knowing that Allāh directs our path and never abandons those who rely on Him. We also draw assurance from the examples of those who came before us —who walked by faith, trusted in Allāh through every trial,
and were guided to success in this world and salvation in the Hereafter.
[7]. Satan is the true source of persecution, not Allāh. He stirs hearts against the believers — to imprison them, drive them out, or even take their lives.
Yet the people of faith need not fear death, for death only opens the door to the eternal crown of life. Satan may harm the body, but he cannot touch the soul that is guarded by faith. Though persecution may be fierce, it will not last forever. Allāh remains in full control — He has set both its beginning and its end. Therefore, do not fear those who threaten or harm you. A time will come when all secrets will be exposed, and all truth will be made clear before every eye.
Do not fear those who can kill the body but cannot reach the soul. Fear only Allāh — the One who holds both body and soul in His power. Be certain that the good end belongs to those who remain steadfast and righteous. If we are persecuted for the sake of truth and we endure it with patience, we earn high honor in the sight of Allāh — for this is the essence of righteousness.
What can the enemies of Allāh truly do to us? Our paradise and garden are within our hearts — wherever we go, they go with us.
If we are imprisoned, it becomes a retreat for worship. If we are killed, it is martyrdom. If we are driven from our homes, it becomes a journey through the earth in the path of Allāh. Thus, the believer is never defeated — for wherever he turns, he is in the presence of his Lord.
