Firo maanaaji Simoore: Simoore ñirɓinde (abasa)   Aaya:

‘Abasa

عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
1. He¹ frowned and turned 'his attention˺ away,
1. I.e., the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
2. Because there came to him the blind man² 'interrupting'.
2. I.e., Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum interrupting, while seeking guidance, and the Prophet (ﷺ) was preoccupied in inviting the notables of Quraysh to Islam.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
3. You never know 'O Prophet', perhaps he (the blind man) may purify³ himself?
3. As a result of what he learns from you.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ
4. Or be reminded, so would benefit him the reminder?
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
5. As for the one who was indifferent⁴,
4. Considering himself free from need (of Divine guidance), here it is referring to that influential pagan of the Quraysh whom the Prophet (ﷺ) had hoped to embrace Islam.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
6. To him you give full attention.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
7. And there is no 'blame' upon you if he would no purify himself (from sins).
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ
8. But as to the one who comes to you striving hard (to learn),
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ
9. While he fears 'Allāh'
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
10. To him you are inattentive.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ
11. But no, this 'Qur’an' is a Reminder.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
12. So whoever wills may remember it5.
5. Of what is in this Qur'an.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
فِي صُحُفٖ مُّكَرَّمَةٖ
13. It is in scrolls (with the angels) high-honored,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ
14. Upraised, purified,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
بِأَيۡدِي سَفَرَةٖ
15. In the hands of scribes 'angels',
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
كِرَامِۭ بَرَرَةٖ
16. honourable and virtuous.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ
17. Condemned is man (the denier). How ungrateful is he 'to Allāh!
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
مِنۡ أَيِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
18. From what thing did He create him6?
6. To show arrogance on earth and deny Him.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
19. Out of a drop of semen; He created him, and destined for him,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
20. Then He eased the way7 for him,
7. I.e., his exit from his mother's womb, or his course of life or the way to true guidance.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقۡبَرَهُۥ
21. Then He causes him to die and be buried 'in the grave';
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
22. Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقۡضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
23. Nay, he has not comply with what He 'Allāh' has commanded him.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
24. Then, let man consider (the source of) his food,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
أَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا ٱلۡمَآءَ صَبّٗا
25. We pour down the water, pouring (it) in abundance,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ شَقّٗا
26. Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder (with sprouts),
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا حَبّٗا
27. So, therein We caused grain to grow,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَعِنَبٗا وَقَضۡبٗا
28. And grapes and clover,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَزَيۡتُونٗا وَنَخۡلٗا
29. And olive trees and date-palms,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلۡبٗا
30. And dense orchards,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَفَٰكِهَةٗ وَأَبّٗا
31. And fruits and grass -
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
مَّتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ
32. A provision for you and for your cattle.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
33. Then when the deafening blast8 is sounded,
8. The second blowing of the trumpet, causing all to rise from the dead for resurrection.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ
34. The Day on which a man shall flee from his brother,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
35. And his mother and father,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
36. And his spouse and children;
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ
37. Every one of them will on that Day have enough concern of his own9.
9. And so they will forget all others besides themselves and their deeds.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ
38. (Some) faces on that Day will be bright,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ
39. Laughing and joyous.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ
40. And (other) faces on that Day will be gloomy,
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
41. darkness will cover him.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ
42. These are the deniers, the wicked ones.
Faccirooji aarabeeji:
