ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊߟߌ - ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ ߓߟߏ߫ * - ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ ߟߎ߫ ߦߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߥߟߊ


ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫: ߢߊߞߘߐߛߘߌ ߝߐߘߊ   ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫:

‘Abasa

عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
1. He¹ frowned and turned (his) back,
1. i.e., the Prophet ﷺ
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
2. When the blind man² came to him.
2. I.e., Abdullah ibn Umm Maktum interrupting, while seeking guidance, and the Prophet (ﷺ) was preoccupied in inviting the notables of Quraysh to Islam.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
3. But what would make you perceive that he (the blind man) might be purified³?
3. As a result of what he learns from you.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ
4. Or be reminded, and the reminder might benefit him?
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
5. As for the one who considers himself free from need (of Divine guidance)⁴,
4. Here it is referring to that influential pagan of the Quraysh whom the Prophet (ﷺ) had hoped to embrace Islam.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
6. To him you give full attention.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
7. Though you will not be blamed, if he does not purify himself (from sins),
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ
8. But as to the one who comes to you striving hard (to be guided),
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ
9. And is in Awe (and Reverence before Allah),
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
10. You ignore him and divert your attention to another (hoping that he embraces Islam).
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ
11. Nay, this is a Reminder (i.e., the Qur’an).
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
12. So let him who wills give heed to it.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
فِي صُحُفٖ مُّكَرَّمَةٖ
13. It is in honored scripts,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ
14. Exalted, purified,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
بِأَيۡدِي سَفَرَةٖ
15. In the hands of angelic scribes,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
كِرَامِۭ بَرَرَةٖ
16. Noble and virtuous.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ
17. Cursed is man (the denier). How ungrateful is he!
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
مِنۡ أَيِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
18. Of what thing did (Allah) create him?
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
19. Out of a drop of semen; He created him, then He destined for him,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
20. As for the way⁵, He made easy for him,
5. I.e., his exit from his mother's womb, or his course of life or the way to true guidance.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقۡبَرَهُۥ
21. Then He causes him to die, and be buried;
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
22. And will resurrect him when He wills.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقۡضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
23. Nay, he has not dully fulfilled what He (Allah) commanded him.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
24. Let man consider (the source of) the food (that he eats),
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
أَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا ٱلۡمَآءَ صَبّٗا
25. We pour down the water, pouring (it) in abundance,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
ثُمَّ شَقَقۡنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ شَقّٗا
26. Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder (with sprouts),
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا حَبّٗا
27. To grow therein grain,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَعِنَبٗا وَقَضۡبٗا
28. And grapes and clover,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَزَيۡتُونٗا وَنَخۡلٗا
29. And olive trees and date-palms,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلۡبٗا
30. And gardens dense with many trees,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَفَٰكِهَةٗ وَأَبّٗا
31. And fruits and grass -
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
مَّتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ
32. A provision for you and for your cattle.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
33. When the deafening blast⁶ comes,
6. the second blowing of the trumpet
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ
34. The Day on which a man shall flee from his brother,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
35. And his mother and father,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
36. And his consort and children;
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
لِكُلِّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ شَأۡنٞ يُغۡنِيهِ
37. Every one of them will on that Day have enough concern of his own⁷.
7. And so they will forget all others besides themselves and their deeds.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ
38. (Some) faces on that Day will be bright,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ
39. Laughing and joyous.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ
40. But (other) faces on that Day will be gloomy,
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
41. Covered by darkness.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ
42. These are the deniers, the wicked ones.
ߊߙߊߓߎߞߊ߲ߡߊ ߞߘߐߦߌߘߊ ߟߎ߬:
 
ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫: ߢߊߞߘߐߛߘߌ ߝߐߘߊ
ߝߐߘߊ ߟߎ߫ ߦߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߥߟߊ ߞߐߜߍ ߝߙߍߕߍ
 
ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊߟߌ - ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ ߓߟߏ߫ - ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ ߟߎ߫ ߦߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߥߟߊ

ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߐ߫߸ ߊ߳ߺߊߓߑߘߎ߫ ߊ.ߟߟߊ߯ߤߌ߫ ߤ߭ߛߊߣߎ߲߫ ߦߊ߰ߞߎߓߊ߫ ߟߊ߫ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ ߟߋ߬.
