4
وَلَوۡ أَنَّا كَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَنِ ٱقۡتُلُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱخۡرُجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فَعَلُواْ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡ وَأَشَدَّ تَثۡبِيتٗا
66. If We had commanded them, ‘Kill yourselves [those among you who are guilty],' or ‘Leave your homes [29]’, they would not have done it except for a very few of them. But if they had done what they were admonished with, it would have certainly been better for them and stronger in strengthening [their faith];
[29]. For the sake of your religion as we ordained for the children of Israel.

67
:
4
وَإِذٗا لَّأٓتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّن لَّدُنَّآ أَجۡرًا عَظِيمٗا
67. And then We would surely have granted them from Ourselves a tremendous reward.

68
:
4
وَلَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ صِرَٰطٗا مُّسۡتَقِيمٗا
68. And We would surely guided them on a straight Path.

69
:
4
وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَٱلصَّٰلِحِينَۚ وَحَسُنَ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ رَفِيقٗا
69. Whoever obeys Allāh and the messenger [Muhammad], will be with those upon whom Allāh has bestowed favor of the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. What excellent companions they are.

70
:
4
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ عَلِيمٗا
70. That is the Bounty [30] from Allāh - And sufficient is Allāh as All-Knower.
[30]. The rewards for obeying Allāh and His Messenger are abundant, both in this world and the Hereafter — among them, being elevated to the noble ranks of the Prophets and their righteous companions in Paradise.

71
:
4
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ خُذُواْ حِذۡرَكُمۡ فَٱنفِرُواْ ثُبَاتٍ أَوِ ٱنفِرُواْ جَمِيعٗا
71. O believers, take your precaution and go forth in detachments or go forth all together [in the Cause of Allāh].

72
:
4
وَإِنَّ مِنكُمۡ لَمَن لَّيُبَطِّئَنَّ فَإِنۡ أَصَٰبَتۡكُم مُّصِيبَةٞ قَالَ قَدۡ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيَّ إِذۡ لَمۡ أَكُن مَّعَهُمۡ شَهِيدٗا
72. And indeed, among you is he who would certainly lingers behind [from fighting in Allah’s Cause]. Then, if a calamity befalls you, he says: "Allāh has truly blessed me that I was not there with them as a witness."

73
:
4
وَلَئِنۡ أَصَٰبَكُمۡ فَضۡلٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَن لَّمۡ تَكُنۢ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَبَيۡنَهُۥ مَوَدَّةٞ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ مَعَهُمۡ فَأَفُوزَ فَوۡزًا عَظِيمٗا
73. But if bounty from Allāh befalls you [O believers], he would certainly say - as though there had not been any ties of affection between you and him: "Would that I had been with them, so I would have attained a great success."

:
4
۞ فَلۡيُقَٰتِلۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَشۡرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَمَن يُقَٰتِلۡ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيُقۡتَلۡ أَوۡ يَغۡلِبۡ فَسَوۡفَ نُؤۡتِيهِ أَجۡرًا عَظِيمٗا
74. So let those [believers] who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter fight in the Cause of Allāh. Whoever fights in the Cause of Allāh and is killed or attains victory - We will grant him an immense reward.
