[44]. Muhammad, God’s Messenger ﷺ said, "I am the nearest of all people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The Prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one. And there was no Prophet between me and him.”
[45]. "A guardian over it” means that the Qur’an encompasses the laws and teachings of the earlier Scriptures—confirming what remains valid and superseding what has been altered or abrogated.
[46]. Those who refuse to submit to the judgment of Allāh and His Messenger are, in reality, choosing the rule of ignorance—mere human laws born of vain desires and lacking any foundation in the divine Scriptures, which are the true sources of light and guidance for humanity.
