ការបកប្រែអត្ថន័យ ជំពូក​ អាល់ម៉ាអ៊ីដះ - ការបកប្រែជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស - អាប់ឌុលឡោះ ហាសាន់ យ៉ាកូប - លេខ​ទំព័រ 118 - សព្វវចនាធិប្បាយគម្ពីរអាល់គួរអាន

58 : 5

وَإِذَا نَادَيۡتُمۡ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوٗا وَلَعِبٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَعۡقِلُونَ

58. When you announce the call to prayer ^[53], they make it as mockery and fun; this is because they are a people who do not understand.

[53]. Prayer is singled out here because it is the most outwardly distinctive feature that defines the believing community and sets it apart from the unbelievers. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: The Covenant that stands between Us and them is the Prayer. Whoever abandons It, he has Committed disbelief. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that prayer is the covenant between Muslims and Allāh, and abandoning it is considered disbelief. He also said: "Between a man and disbelief and paganism is the abandonment of prayer".

59 : 5

قُلۡ يَٰٓأَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ هَلۡ تَنقِمُونَ مِنَّآ إِلَّآ أَنۡ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَأَنَّ أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ فَٰسِقُونَ

59. Say, "O followers of the Scripture [Jews and Christians], do you resent of us [for any other reason] except that we believe in Allāh and what has been sent down to us [of the Qur’an] and what was sent down before ^[54], and that most of you are [persistent] disobedient?

[54]. Of the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, etc.

60 : 5

قُلۡ هَلۡ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرّٖ مِّن ذَٰلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِۚ مَن لَّعَنَهُ ٱللَّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيۡهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡقِرَدَةَ وَٱلۡخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗا وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَآءِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

60. Say, "Shall I inform you of those who are worse in recompense with Allāh? They are those whom Allāh has cursed and upon whom His wrath has fallen—some He transformed into monkeys and pigs, and others who worshipped false deities. Such are in a far worse position and further astray from the Straight Path."

61 : 5

وَإِذَا جَآءُوكُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا وَقَد دَّخَلُواْ بِٱلۡكُفۡرِ وَهُمۡ قَدۡ خَرَجُواْ بِهِۦۚ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡتُمُونَ

61. When they come to you [O believers], they say, ‘We believe.’ Yet they have indeed entered with disbelief [in their hearts] and have certainly left with it, and Allāh knows best what they were concealing.

62 : 5

وَتَرَىٰ كَثِيرٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٰنِ وَأَكۡلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

62. You see many of them [the Jews] hastening into sin and aggression, and in consuming what is unlawful. Evil indeed is what they have been doing.

63 : 5

لَوۡلَا يَنۡهَىٰهُمُ ٱلرَّبَّٰنِيُّونَ وَٱلۡأَحۡبَارُ عَن قَوۡلِهِمُ ٱلۡإِثۡمَ وَأَكۡلِهِمُ ٱلسُّحۡتَۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَصۡنَعُونَ

63. Why do their rabbis and scholars not forbid them from sinful speech and from consuming what is unlawful? Evil indeed is what they have been making.

64 : 5

وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ يَدُ ٱللَّهِ مَغۡلُولَةٌۚ غُلَّتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَلُعِنُواْ بِمَا قَالُواْۘ بَلۡ يَدَاهُ مَبۡسُوطَتَانِ يُنفِقُ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُۚ وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنۡهُم مَّآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ طُغۡيَٰنٗا وَكُفۡرٗاۚ وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمُ ٱلۡعَدَٰوَةَ وَٱلۡبَغۡضَآءَ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ كُلَّمَآ أَوۡقَدُواْ نَارٗا لِّلۡحَرۡبِ أَطۡفَأَهَا ٱللَّهُۚ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَسَادٗاۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

64. The Jews said, ‘The Hand of Allāh is chained.’ Rather, their own hands are chained, and they were cursed for what they said. On the contrary, both of His Hands are outstretched; He spends as He wills. What has been sent down to you from your Lord will surely make many of them increase in arrogance and disbelief. We have placed enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection. Whenever they kindle a fire for war, Allāh extinguishes it. They strive to spread corruption on the earth, but Allāh does not like the corrupters.

[55]. This is yet another example of how defiant the Jews had become in their rebellion against God—not only through their sinful actions and disregard of His law, but more gravely by slandering and speaking profanely against Almighty God. For this, they rightly incurred His Wrath and Damnation.
